Facility to retrieve application number

Facility to retrieve application number
Candidates for the engineering/medical entrance examinations who have misplaced their application number can now retrieve the same from the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE).
The home page of the website cee-kerala.org sports the ‘Get your application number' link. This leads the candidate on to a page wherein he has to enter his name as given in the application form. Alongside there is a drop down box to select the examination centre that the candidate has selected.
On submitting these, a list of candidates with similar names in that particular centre would be displayed. The application number of each of these candidates would also displayed in addition to the full address of each candidate. From this list a candidate can identify his application number.
The application number and a candidate's date of birth should be submitted to retrieve the admit card for the examinations. The admit cards would be available at the CEE's website on the second week of April.
According to official sources, more close to 2,000 candidates have been found to have misplaced/lost their application numbers. The CEE's office has been getting a steady stream of phone calls from frantic parents and candidates asking how the application number can be retrieved and whether candidates would have to report at the CEE's office for the same.
The facility for retrieving the application number would in all likelihood be kept open till the first week of April, the sources added.
